SOLAR RED OBSTRUCTION LIGHTING SOLUTION FOR TOWERS

 

 

Solar Red Obstruction lights are used to increase conspicuity during nighttime. The solar red obstruction lighting system is composed of flashing omnidirectional beacons (L-864) and/or steady burning (L-810) lights. When one or more levels is comprised of flashing beacon lighting, the lights should flash simultaneously.

Telecommunications or Power Towers are typically tall structures designed to support Antennas or Power lines. They are among the tallest man-made structures.

LIGHTS SPECIFICATIONS

 

 

    Low intensity lights should be used for structure with H ≤ 45 m during night time, if those are considered inadequate, than medium intensity lights should be used.

 

    DWS501A  Low intensity Type B(L-810)

   

Red, Steady-Burning and its intensity is more than 32cd.

Solar panel 2.7Wp, replaceable Ni-HM battery 4.8Ah/4.8V.

Turns on at dusk and off at dawn automatically.

 Charge under nearly all weather conditions and up to 70 hrs of operating capacity from a full charge.

Completely solar self-contained and waterproof IP65.

Lens is polycarbonate with anti-UV which is produced by Bayer.

    Medium intensity lights Type B should be used to lit extensive object (group of buildings or tree) or structure with 45 m < H ≤ 150 m.

Solar panel 7.2Wp, replaceable Lithium battery 16Ah/7.2V.

Light Output :   360 ° or Any Sector. 

Turns on at dusk and off at dawn automatically or by switch.

 Completely solar self-contained and waterproof IP67.

To Charge under nearly all weather conditions and up to 200 hrs of operating capacity from a full charge.

Option to synchronize by GPS.

 

    DWS702AB Medium intensity Type B(L-864) with a Bird Repeller

   

DWS702AB is a Medium-intensity aviation obstruction light which complies with ICAO Annex 14 Volume Ι. Because  an electronic bird repeller is added inside it, it becomes a solar aviation obstruction light with bird repellent function.

The electronic bird repellent device produces extremely effective audio-visual threats that frighten, irritate, and disorient birds, forcing them to seek calmer, untreated areas. It can condition pest birds to stay away from treated areas for good.

The light is designed as solar self-contained, which can easily be synchronized through GPS. It is especially suitable for large-scale wind turbines, military and civil airports, high-voltage power towers and other occasions with the requirements of preventing harmful birds from invading. It has the characteristics of self charging, durability, UV resistance and convenient installation.

     
 
BASIC RULES
 

 

The number of light levels recommended depends on the height of the structure;

The number and arrangement of light units at each level should be placed so the lighting is visible from every angle in azimuth;

Lights are applied to display the general definition of the structure;

Width and length of buildings determine the number of lights installed at the top and at each light level.

Lights should define the general shape of the object;
1 or more lights should be mounted outside at diagonally opposite positions;
